How is nuoc mam made?!
I am doing a project on interesting foods so i chose one tht i had never heard of!. i know its a vitemenise fish sauce but i need to know how to make it!? I am trying to find it but know reallly good recipes and it isnt nuoc mam cham!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is made similar to wine or beer, the fish is fermented in a salt solution for months and when the fermentation is finished and settles, they filtered off and bottled, the best types are the lighter Thai or darker Vietnamese one, but most of the Asian country's make a type or a product that resembles it, even in Malaysia there is one and a fermented fish paste name "Trase" used for the same purposes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
