* I live in NYC and if going through Chinatown at breakfast time I pick up a container of wide noodles (1" wide) mixed with fresh mung bean sprouts and some toasted sesame oil: have with hot coffee

to make: make some fresh Chinese noodles (an egg yolk for each cup of plain flour, a tsp of plain oil, and a sprinkle of water to make a dough, knead it really well in the bowl, or on a lightly floured surface with your hands, let rest one hour, roll out on a very lightly floured board to about 1/8", cut in wide strips, cover with a towel for 20 minutes, then put into boiling water with a tsp of salt and cook for 3 minutes and drain !.!.!.!. while noodles were resting: sauter the beansprouts in a little plain oil for about 2 minutes in a hot wok / skillet, then sprinkle over only 1 tsp of toasted sesame oil!.!.!.!. mix into hot drained boiled noodles & serve

Okey, here's the recipe:

3 cups cooked rice (not Instant!)
Rice from the night before works best for making fried rice, as it has had the time to "set"!.
1 clove garlic finely chopped garlic!. fry in light oil til just toasted, don't over do it!
Heat rice in wok with a little cooking oil of your choice!.
Add fresh peas, diced fresh carrots, scrambled eggs & diced chicken!.
Season with sesame seed oil (just a splash) & a pinch of pepper & a little soy sauce

It will be a hit with your boys!.

You can substitute egg noodles for rice, just add a little more soy sauce!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

How about !.!.

1) hot soy milk with sugar and steamed Chinese buns (you can find the frozen ones in most Chinese supermarket) or

2) Deep fried spring rolls

3) Fried egg noodles (with bean sprouts & green onions)
