Rice cooker question...?!

Question: Rice cooker question!.!.!.!?
I have a Trader Joe's Basmati Rice Medley!. Basically basmati rice, wild rice and some dried veggies!. I want to use my rice cooker but on the back it has stove top instructions for 1c!. rice mixture, 2c!. water and 1T!. butter!. Should I use the same measurements even though its in my rice cooker!?!?

Are websites that have converstion charts or anything for rice cookers!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I have experimented with Rice-A-Roni in the rice cooker and it comes out perfect, even though cooking instructions are for the stovetop!.

Basically you would place the 1 cup of rice mixture and 2 cups of water and the butter all in the rice cooker!. The job of the rice cooker would do the same thing on the stovetop automatically!.
So yes, you may use the rice cooker to make the Basmati Rice Medley!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't know what type of rice cooker you have!. Programmable rice cookers work the best!.
There are two cooking methods being and absorption!. The amount of water absorbed depends on the type of rice and is constant whether you use stove top or any type of cooker!.
Just try with stove top recipe in the Cooker!. At worst, the rice will not be moistened all the way throgh and may need more water!. But I doubt it!. It should work fine
