What's the difference between kosher meat and halal meat?!

Question: What's the difference between kosher meat and halal meat!?
Answers:
Kosher meat must come from an animal that: a) has cloven hooves and chews cud, and b) is slaughtered by having its throat cut in a single stroke with a sharp, perfectly straight-edged knife!. After the meat is slaughtered, all of the blood must be drained from the meat by covering it with coarse salt (that is why they call it Kosher Salt)!. Halal meat is slaughtered with its head facing Mecca, and having had the formula "Bismillah Allahu Akbar" (In the Name of God, God is the Greatest) pronounced!. Halal meat is not necessarily covered with salt in order to remove blood, although vinegar is occasionally used!. Most European Jews do not eat the hindquarters of an animal, but Islam has no such taboo!. In general, Muslims consider all kosher meat to be halal, although virtually no Jews regard halal meat to be kosher!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
