Aragon cuisine is so diverse!. There is use of different meats, like wild game, suckling lamb, eels, trout, pork and chicken!. Stews are a big thing in that region too as well as sausages!. Arbiello (cured ham) and longaniza (sausages) are some of the unique food items from Aragon!. Another is fardeles, pigs liver mixed with spices and wrapped in kidney skins is another delicacy!. It's like a meatball crossed with sausage!. Chestnuts, almonds and fruits are used extensively in the desserts of that region!. There's a pastry called "tortas de alma" that is fried dough that is made of honey, olive oil and wheat and stuffed with pumpkin jam!. Culongo liquor is well known there too!. It is made from morellos and cinnamon and is usually consumed after a big dinner!.
