Has anyone ever had lutefisk? Is it good?!

Sure it tastes OK!. But the texture is icky!. (Gelatinous)
As a young Swedish-american we were always faced with the dilemma of tasting it or refusing it during the holidays!.

I have never eaten it!. Hubby says his Norwegian relatives have eaten it!. He hasn't eaten either!.
He does say there is a reason why they drink Aqvit or beer when eating lutefisk the stuff reportedly feels like a gelatinous mass!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
