Absolutely, they are tropical plants as are most chiles!. They like the heat, but also need a lot of water, but not soggy feet!. Start seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before your last frost date!. Harden off and set out in garden when soil temp are 50+F!. I soil is cold the plant will just sit there and not grow!. Watch for wilting on hot days - add water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, You can grow them pretty much anywhere!. They are very sturdy!. I do recommend that you grow it away from the house!. They attract mosquitoes!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

The climate is completely different!. You would do best to grow them indoors, or well watered and shaded for a third or so of the day!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
