What do u think of my asian meal which i cooked?!
steamed rice, steamed beans n chinese greens topped with oyster sauce, n chicken breasts in peanut sauce

the vegetable and rice is a great chinese combination!. The peanut sauce, could be more of an indonesian influence!.
You can never go wrong with oyster sauce in chinese cuisine!. I try to play a little with it now and then like adding abit more soy sauce, or some chicken stock etc and then mixing it in a low heated pan to boost the aroma before coating my vegetables with it!.!.!. do try it with a tad bit of sesame oil, it really adds much authenticity to most asian (chinese meals) by giving a pleasant aroma and its relatively easy to get!.
