Question: I am a year 6 student and I have a project to do about South east Asian food!.!.!?
Before you read this and hopefully answer my question my question is a bit long and i really need and answer because i am in desperate need of help!.I am a year 6 student and I have a project to do about South east Asian food!.
For the project I need to have a South East Asian recipe!. I need to take photos step by step of me making the dish!. I have it all set out but i just do not know what food to make!. I want to do Thai food!. I have tried searching on google for Thai recipes but most of them are very hard for me and my mum to make!. Do you know of any Thai recipes that could be a tad easier for me to prepare!?
If so please tell me the dish and a link to the website that of course wil have the ingredients attached to it!.
If you do not find any links but you happen to know of Thai recipes please just give me the name of the Thai recipe like this!. e!.g
( Pad Thai= Thai noodles)

Just a quick search led to "The Real Thai Recipes" site that looks pretty interesting!. The link at the top of the screen for "Thai Recipes" contains numerous different dishes!. The site even has an ingredient glossary to assist you in your search for the correct ingredients!. Hope this helps out some!

im' not sure of the measurements cos everytime i make it i use a different amount every time, just think of what you want it to be like!

Ground pork/chicken/beef
Basil leaves
fish sauce
chilli
garlic
oil

1!. heat oil in skillet
2!. chuck the garlic in
3!.!. chuck the meat in, stirfry until it's cooked
4!. toss in the chillis (i usually use around 13 small chillis but i'm guessing your western tongues would have burnt to cinders by then so stick to 6 or something)
5!. toss in the basil
6 stir fry til you think it's done

chuck on rice

Hi Jay has given you a link, if you have a wok use it, if not a large skillet!.
Fleurette's of Broccoli
Carrot (cut like straws)
1 X stick celery chopped
1 X Medium onion cut in half and finally sliced!.
1 X clove crushed garlic
1 X red bell pepper
2 table spoons peanut oil or EVOO even vegetable (don't go nuts)
1/2 lb pork, beef or chicken stir fry strips
tip of a teaspoon chili flakes
Noodles
4 tables spoons stock
1 good table spoon oyster sauce
1/2 table spoon soy!.
1/4 to 1/2 table spoon fish sauce (careful this is salty)
Please, don't forget the camera, and take the lense cap off!. Take lots of shots in order,

Meth:
Heat your oil, toss in the meat and cook draining remove from pan, add in the onions first and start to soften add carrots, celery pepper, broccoli, give it a good toss add your meat back in and the liquids tossing well as you do it, make sure you taste as you go, if not may be too salty!. The liquids should reduce and thicken!. By this stage you should be on a medium to high heat!.

remove your noodles from the water if they require pre-boilling and add to the stir fry and mix through!.

Basically there you have it, if you like mushrooms add some mushrooms towards the end, the vegetables should be tender not much when you serve them!.

Maybe not Thai, but it's simple, one pan cooking!. Explore and experiment with flavors and use your imaginations!.

When completing your project use lots of photos, and a brief discription below it, if the pics are taken properly, they will tell the story for you!.

Now sit at the table and try it you clever person you!.

Enjoy

Chris
