Most of it I love!.!.!. cabbage rolls, pirogis, the sweet and sour cabbage, etc!. But I have never been able to develop a taste for the chinina (duck blood soup) or things like blood sausage!. Anything with 'blood' in the title tend to turn me off!.

I live in a town where there is a large contingent of people of Polish Heritage!.!.!. we even have a summer Polish Street Festival!. And all the church festivals have Polish food booths, It's great!.!.!. so we all grew up eating some type of Polish food!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

There was a quaint little Polish restaurant in Montreal that I used to frequent when I was in college!. Apart from sausages, the cuisine consisted of thick soups, stews, and a lot of potatoes and vegetables!. It was the kind of food that made you feel warm and comfotable inside, especially on a cold winter day!.
basically that type of cuisine is called 'peasant food' as it evolved from people who used the available resources from their environments in order to feed their families!. In short, the food is not fancy, just nourishing and satisfying!.

Absolutely; I was raised on the stuff!.

My favorites are kapusta, galobki, peirogies, pickle soup, sauerkraut soup, halushka (made with sauerkraut & bacon), really garlicky keilbasa, and kruschiki!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
