I have several favorite Mexican meals:
1) Chicarrones en chile verde - mmmmm, the real deal Mexican!
2) Ahhh, every Mexican's childhood memory, a simple meal of refried beans (using lard) with flour tortillas!. Now <that's> comfort food!. You use the tortillas as utensils, forks are for company, lol!.
3) Tamales for Sunday breakfast, followed by a piece (or two) of pan dulce (Mexican sweet bread) and a mugful of Mexican chocolate!. Oh man, that's good stuff!!! Talk about <comfort> food!
4) See #3 above, but switch menudo for tamales!. Mmm!
Below are snacks that every Mexican childhood never goes without:
1) Get a tortilla (can be either flour or corn, flour tastes better) and some avocado!. Heat the flour tortilla on the stovetop directly on the fire!. Flip, heat the other side, remove!. Cut the avocado into slices, mashing onto tortilla!. Sprinkle with salt, drizzle with a little hot sauce to your liking!. Roll!. Eat!. Enjoy!
2) Get a tortilla (can be either flour or corn, flour tastes better) and heat on the stovetop!. Flip, heat, remove!. Rub with butter!. Eat!. Enjoy!
(Hint: fajitas aren't authentic Mexican, they're Tex-Mex!. But still, they're good!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I enjoy going to the Mexican grill type restaurants in preference to a fancy place!. I love the burritos at Qdoba (chain) and recently had one at Desert Moon (another chain)!. They make it in front of you, and all ingredients are fresh!. NO MICROWAVES either!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
mexicana chicken!.!.!.

seriously, this is sooooooo nice!. i put a dollop of sour cream on top too and it just gives it that bit extra!. also i wouldn't use re-fried beans, i use 4-bean mix and that tastes really good in it!.
you can add more of the spices/chilli powder to make it hotter, which i do, or you can put less if you don't like spicy foodWww@FoodAQ@Com
