Japanese style take on Italian food?!

Question: Japanese style take on Italian food!?
A friend of mine went to Japan and tried this dish and I'm trying to find the recipe for it!. She described it basically as spaghetti bolgonese with a fried egg on top, which is simple enough, but am wondering if the spices used may have been different!. I realize this is a long shot, but if anyone would have any ideas as to whether or not the spices used would be changed or if there would be any additional spices, etcWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
The sauce is definitely sweeter than traditional Italian sauce!. Here's what I do - brown the ground beef, saute in the minced onions, celery and carrots (about equal parts)!. Add tomato paste, tomato sauce and about 1/4 c sugar!. Let it simmer until the veges are soft!. Using a stick blender, blend the sauce so it becomes smoother in consistency!. Add salt, pepper!. Arrange your noodles, top with the sauce, and the fried egg!. Sometimes you'll see nori seaweed cut like confetti look on top of the egg!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

have never heard of it but it does sound interesting (I like raw eggs AND I love pasta)!.
Keep an eye on this place: http://www!.ristoranteyoghiebooboo!.it/ind!.!.!.

The name of the place is silly but the food is great and occasionally they do Japanese style foods with an Italian flare!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would imagine so!. You can buy Japanese style spaghetti sauce at some asian markets!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
