Answers:
-meet stock with REAL meat (pork, could be some chicken or beef)
- add some parsley or couple bey leaves to the stock
- beans
- carrot, onion (chopped, fried slightly)
- beets (grounded on the large grind, add to carrot and oinion)
- tomato sauce ( can use tomato pasta, i use chopped tomatoes in tomato juice in cans), can add some ketchup for sharper taste -
add to carrot, onion, beets, stew alltogether for a little bit
- add some potato to stock
- add some slices thin cabbage to stoke
- in 10-15 minutes - add the mix of carrot, onion, beets, tomato souse -
to the stock!.
- cook on low heat for few more minutes
- turn the stove off, then add some crashed garlic!.
the best borscht to eat it stays for a few hours after cooking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Saute the onion in butter
Add couple of bay leaves and few peppercorns!.
Add some tomato sauce and paprika!.
When the onion will get softer add grated carrot 3-4 beets grated or julienned
Add beef stock, let it simmer for 5-10 min, add shredded cabbage and simmer till the cabbage will get softer!.
Add some salt and some fresh parsley!.
Your Borsht is ready!.
Serve with sour cream and if you like it tarty add some lemon juice or vinegar!.
