Ghee is just clarified butter!. Melt your butter slowly and skim off the white foam on top as it forms!. What is left will be golden and clear!. That's ghee!. Here's a detailed set of instructions:

Ghee = clarified butter (butter melted, milk solids settle, clear milkfat poured off the top)
