What does Kamaboko taste like?!


Question: What does Kamaboko taste like!?
I've seen kamaboko being used in various Japanese dishes, but I can't find any web sites that describe the taste!. Hopefully someone here can tell me what it tastes like!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Kamaboko is a fish paste which is usually molded into a mound on a rectangular piece of wood, then steamed!. It taste like sweetend fish!.
Many people, who are new to it say that it's like eating a sweet fishy tasting piece of soft rubber!. However, if you have grown up on it, it's a must have!. Kamaboko, also, comes in various forms!. You can find various types in Japan Super, under the categroy Fish Products!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
