Answers:
next time just buy some corn tortillas and make the tostada by yourself its much better like that!.make some refried means!. brown your hamburger meat with cumino, garlic, oregano, salt and onion!. spread the beans on the tostada then spoon on the hamburger meat!. then add lettuce, tomato, onion ,cheese, sour cream avocado and salsa!. i usually put fresh mexican cheese instead of cheddar on mine!. for my hot sauce i boil the tomato and jalapeno then blend them up!. in a pan i put oil and when its hot i add a piece of onion i fry it a little so the onions flavor is let out into the oil then i add the salsa and salt!. let it boil a couple of minutes depending on how watery you like it!. then chop up onion and cilantro put how ever much hot sauce your gonna use in a bowl and add the cilantro and onion!. i even put the avocado in the hot sauce i love it like that!.on the package it should give you heating instructions they taste better hot!. if you want the mexican crema but dint want to pay the extra money, cause it is more expensive!. put some sour cream in a small bowl add just a little salt and a little bit of milk not much and stir with a fork!. it takes quite a bit of stirring to get it smooth!. keep adding a little more milk at a time to achieve the consistency that you lie you should be able to pour it but not for it to be watery!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can make the meat into taco's- then layer then on the tostada shell- like beans, meat, cheese and tomato, lettuce, guacamole, and sour cream- or you can do a spoof of the Taco Bell Mexican Pizza- lay one down- slather on beans and meat, lay another on top and layer with melted cheese, shredded lettuce, and tomato, with some sour cream- or you can make huge honkin nachosWww@FoodAQ@Com

guacamole ,refried beans , cheese's, anything you put on a tostada goes great have plenty of salsa's and basicly the same filling's you'd put on a taco or burrito -a tostada is a mexican -paper plate and food holder eater if you will a takealong i'm a mex american texacan as my parents say so no insults here ,here's another idea for you ,make a simple tuna salad add some pea's a squeeze of lime a dash of tabasco and on the tostada spread the salad and top with some finely shredded lettuce and chopped tomato w/onion's -tasty stuff and handy Www@FoodAQ@Com

This is easy to make and yummy to eat!. what my mom does is she makes refried pinto beans, and spreads them like peanut butter over the tostada and then sprinkles it with some queso fresco, or fresh cheese over it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

just plonk on a load of different toppings like meat, lettuce, guacamole and cheese!. Its GREAT with shredded beef and salsa goes nicely with this!.
But whatever u top it with, make sure u use plenty on cayenne pepper!. :DWww@FoodAQ@Com

saute the ground beef and set aside

warm some black beans and se tin a bowl

chop lettuce tomatos and grated cheese and set in seperate bowls

make a build your own tostada barWww@FoodAQ@Com

Spread a thin layer of refried beans over the tostadas, then layer with ground beef, chopped tomato, chopped onion, cheese and peppers!. Yum! Www@FoodAQ@Com

you could make Mexican tostadas!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

put sour cream then lettace, tomatoes, the meat more sour cream cheese!.!.beansWww@FoodAQ@Com

you don't warm up the tostadas

spread some refried beans on it, then some seasoned ground or shredded beef, lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream (or mexican cream- yum!) and hot sauce if you like spicy

that's the basic!.!.
and of course you can use just beans or beef without the other, but it helps it stay on better to use both!. also, you can use mayo/seasoned shredded chicken instead of the beans/beef!. "Cotija" Mexican cheese works great instead of the American/cheddar shredded cheese with the chicken
(if you don't know how to season the beef or chicken, one easy quick way is to use the taco seasoning sold in packets)

some other things you can make to serve up on the tostadas are:

shrimp tostadas-
cut up shrimp, cabbage, tomato, avocado, and peppers (if you like them) and mix with mayo

cueritos (pork skins) tostadas-
cut up cueritos (pork skins- the kind in vinegar/pickled) with cabbage, tomato, avocado, and peppers (if you like them) & mix with mayo

snack tostadas-
sometimes it's just for a snack and we just put lemon and homemade salsa, or beans and cheese (try different type of beans also), or sour cream and guacamole!.!.

if i think of more simple ones i'll add!.!.!. but just get creative, you can put a lot of stuff on tostadas!.!. my dad actually likes potato salad tostadas! lolWww@FoodAQ@Com
