How much bigger than a bean sprout!? Some Chinese dishes (usually soups) have Tigerlilly buds in them!. They are about 3 inches long, wider than bean sprouts!. and are kind of a yellow color!. They have kind of a chewy stringy texture!. You didn't say what the dish was that you were eating!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A kind of mushroom!. I'm sorry, i can't remember what it's called in English, but it's called Jing Zhen Gu in Chinese!. It's typically used in soups and stews, and appears in most Asian dishes!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
