Answers:
Greek yogurt is more the consistency of thick sour cream, and you can buy it in any grocery store (even Walmart)!. I think it's much better, and it doesn't have all the sugar in it!. Most of the storebrands (like Dannon, Yoplait, etc) are too sugar, and runny - and some even have a "gluey" consistencyWww@FoodAQ@Com

Greek yogurt is very thick compared to regular yogurt!. If you can't find it then buy PLAIN not vanilla yogurt take a large piece of cheese cloth and fold it into about 8 layers take a bowl and put the middle of the cheesecloth on the top of the bowl and secure it to the side of the bowl with a tight rubber band and then pour the plain yogurt into the cheesecloth and let it drain the excess fluid for a few hours until it gets nice and thick then it is similar to greek yogurt!. Greek yoghurt contains 10% fat and is thick and creamy!. When opening the package, it has the thickness and consistency of the cream we used to see on whole milk when it was sold to families in the 50's and 60's!. It doesn't have the water in it like the yoghurt you find in the supermarkets or the sourness which we have gotten used to!. This is yoghurt which can be used savory or sweet!. It contains no salt, gelatin, sugars, no junk!. It is divine!. In Greece , it is served with fresh fruit, figs, peaches, apricots and you can add a little sugar!. Just divine!. I make tzaziki with it and add it to soups just when serving instead of cream!. Look for a brand like total, but you will probably have to look in store like Trader Joe's !. But it is well worth the trouble!. And the joy of this yoghurt is the fact that it doesn't curdle in heat!.

Enjoy!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Greek yogurt is thicker because it has some of the watery whey drained off!. It uses a milder-tasting culture, too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
