Question: Please tell me what to do (it's about food!.!.!.)!?
I have some calamares in (I think it's sunflower) oil but I'm not sure if I have to cook it or not!. It's in a tin but do I put it in the microwave or just eat it like it is!? It hasn't said what to do on the packet though so has it already been cooked!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Marinated calamari packed in sunflower oil is perfectly safe to eat cold from the can!. Try draining it and eating it with diced tomato and onion with a little soy sauce and vinegar!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

calamari is a big favorite where i work as an app!./ never heard of it packaged in sunflower oil!. either way it is safe to eat, cooked or not ,but for the most part it is breaded then deep fried and served with marinara!. cold and raw would seem awful to me, course i've never been a big sushi fan either !. Is it rings ,tubes ,or tubes with tentacles!? usually tubes with tentacles is a sign it is raw!. the tubes can be stuffed and baked or rings are often used in saute' seafood dishes with various combinations such as shrimp ,scallops ,and calamari with garlic lemon or fradeavilo !. to me it just tastes like rubbery chickenWww@FoodAQ@Com

Just to clarify, in reference to the first answerer, you meant that the oil is sunflower, right!? I'm pretty sure you knew you were about to eat squid!.!. hahahaha!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Rebecca!.Hi are you the maths Rebecca!?
I rather think what you have is calamari or squid!.If you have to cook it do not overcook it because then it's like rubber!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Do you mean Calamari!? If so, that is squid!. It is usually fried before eating!.

And yes Calamari must be cooked before eating!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I looked this up because I hadn't heard of calamares!. It is squid not sunflower!. It's been cooked so feel free to eat it without cooking!. What I saw looked disqusting though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
