Do you think you are the best cook ever to the extent that you only enjoy food prepared by you ?!

Lol, no!. I'm pretty retarded in the kitchen and can only make couple dishes!. My husband is an excellent cook, and I honestly enjoy his dishes much more than mine!. I also have occasional dreams about my grandmother's chicken soup, and I really enjoy it when I can get it (she lives in another state)

Absolutely not! If you aren't hungry to find new ideas; if your ego is so engorged as to believe you can't find anyone who may offer new ideas, techniques and flavor combinations then you are your own worst enemy!.
There is no such thing as the "best of the best", because ideas and cultures are evolving faster than you can acquire the knowledge!.
That isn't to say I don't come away from restaurants and meals out feeling disappointed and cheated! But, taste is a subjective thing - I can't be pleased 100% all of the time, nor can I please 100% of everyone I'm ever going to cater to!.
Enjoy where you go, take great pride in what you do, and be thankful for the gifts you have!.

There are a few dishes that I've got down and would rather eat when I cook them myself than when anyone else does!. But some things just taste better when my mom cooks them, and my aunt cooks THE BEST Indian food of anyone I know!. And my boyfriend's mom can make anything taste great!. Well, at least I know how I like my food cooked, etc!. But there are a few good cooks out there besides me!. You never know what you're gonna get at a potluck/covered dish supper!. Where I live there aren't many good restaurants to eat at!. Makes you appreciate food that is cooked properly!. You'd have to drive 100 miles to find a fish market!. Tsk!.!.!.

Nope!. I think I'm a good cook, but I hate cooking!. I like to make dinners for company and I love making a full turkey dinner, but I'd much rather go out to eat!. Plus if someone else cooks it always tastes better to me!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I cook very well!. But I have to admit there are two or three restaurants that I could eat at all day lol!. I guess I could make those dishes, but it is so much better to just eat and relax!.
