Is it possible to bake pakoras instead of frying in oil?!
Answers:
I do and I also bake my samosa, just brush them with oil, or make them up in a pan like pancakes, I do mine this way in a non-stick pan with a spritz of oil and there more like mini pancake, and then warm them in the oven later!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You will have to make batter as if you were going to make short-cut pie pastry or rough-cut puff pastry!.
You just wrap your vegetables in the pastry dough and bake!.
If you don't want to go through the hassle, you can buy frozen puff pastry dough in grocery stores!.
You can also buy the frozen pie crust dough!.
Don't try to use biscuit dough, it rises too much too fast!.
After you have thawed out the puff pastry dough, you can add salt pepper Amchoor cumin seeds etc to the dough and knead it!. The kneading may destroy some puffing, but it would still work!.
You can do the same to make baked Samosa!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
