Need to know!! driving me insane!?!
I used to live in new york for a couple of years while i was backpacking!. I would often go to the jewish deli Zabars to get a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon!. What do the jewish people call this!?!?!? I know its not just simply "a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon"!. It has a special name!. I saw the "schmear and nova" in Noah's!. Everywhere else seems to call it "bagels and lox!." I'm a non-Jewish vegetarian, so I call it someone else's lunch!. ;-)Www@FoodAQ@Com
Local deli guy here west coast!.!.!.says its called Bagel with a schmear and nova!. Lox is not smoked salmon!. Dont know what it's call in new york!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
