Garlic, is there such a thing as garlic w/out the garlic odor?!


Question: Garlic, is there such a thing as garlic w/out the garlic odor!?
I don't like to eat garlic foods knowing how awful I will smell after!?
In fact my first husband forbid me from using garlicky foods, just 1 of his "lay down the law rules"

Your sense of taste is based around the odour of foods, so no you cannot, I don't think i would be able to live with myself for turning my nose up at foods I love just simply so I can taste toothpaste all the time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you cut the cloves in half and take out the stem in the center, garlic is much easier to digest and doesn't smell as much!. It's worth a try!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try Garlique!. I think that's what it's called!.!.!. it's supposed to neutralize the odors!. Or you could just brush your teeth extra-thoroughly and invest in a tongue brush/scraper!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I doubt it!. But to be fair to your husband, sometimes the nteraction between garlic and body chemistry really is offensive--not just the smell of garlic itself!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Elephant garlic is a very large garlic (1 lb each) however has a much milder taste and is known to not leave odor on the breath!. The cloves are so mild that they can be eaten raw!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think I've heard that there is, but why bother!? It's the fragrance and flavor that are the point of eating garlic!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

YES!. Whole roasted garlic has a mild sweeter flavour and will not leave you with "garlic breath"!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
