Is this weird, turkey lasagna?!

Question: Is this weird, turkey lasagna!?
I dislike red meat but I want to make a lasagna!. I have made it with vegetables only in the past and once with beef!. Anyway, I have minced turkey to use - will it go in my lasagna well or should I just do it vegetarian!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Very well!. I have made it with ground turkey!. A lot of people use ground turkey now!. Go for it!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am a former chef and have made it with ground turkey and chicken, just remember it does not have alot of fat, try using a turkey sausage with it for more flavour, and when cooking the meat do not be afraid to use some cooking oil to brown the meat, loads of veg, and it is quite mild in flavour so make sure to to spice it nicely, I use the no boil noodles, make my sauce relatively thin as they tend to absorb the liquids and the use a few different cheeses, not just mozzarella and parmesan, try provolone, asiago and even fruili or casacabello!.

I make 4 layers use some cottage cheese and spinach (frozen for speed) and the sauce in each layer, I make it the same way when I make an all veggie one, I use TVP for a meat like texture and portabello mushrooms for bulk and flavour!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
