Do you marinate chicken before it defrosts?!

Question: Do you marinate chicken before it defrosts!?
I am baking chicken breasts but am unsure if I marinate them as they defrost or after they defrost!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Always after!. The marinade would just drain away with the water as the breasts defrost!. Below is a link for you to a site full of healthy chicken recipes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If your chicken is frozen (solid), the marinate will not penetrate the chicken meat, and will not be seasoned properly!.
Thaw the chicken in the refrigerator, checking on its temperature, and when it has defrosted enough, marinate it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You would marinate them after they defrost, the point is for the marinade to get into the flesh of the chicken and add flavor!. If its frozen the marinade will not penetrate as the chicken is too hard for it to do so!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Oh No, they need to be defrosted before you do anything with them ok!?!? Let them defrost and then you can marinate them very nicely
Good LuckWww@FoodAQ@Com

After they defrost!. Any marinade you place on the still frozen chicks will not permeate the skin and flavor the meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

After!. Marinade can't soak into meat that is frozen!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It would take much longer for frozen to sink into the meat!.!.!.so after is best! Www@FoodAQ@Com
