I'm an Indian who cooks indian food everyday and I would agree if people say that making indian food is hard because I agree with it too (though its not hard for me since I'm used to it now)!. There are many versions to making an inidan chicken curry!. Some recipes are shortcut methods omitting many spices and making it easier!. You might have made it the easy way (which is what I do too) but some curries use many more spices and are really really time-consuming to make!. So, I guess considering the spices used and the time-consuming recipes, people find making indian food hard!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
I didn't know people thought that about Indian food, but if they do, they probably aren't used to all the flavors and spices of Indian food!. I personally sometimes don't have all the spices available, and just buy those foil packets you boil and pour over rice!. They sell them in Indian Grocery stores and Trader Joe's!. They're amazing!. But I personally want to cook more Indian in my kitchen!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
i have made indian food but to be honest do find it arduous simply due to the number of ingredients one often needs!. I am not confident enough to guesstimate the amounts of various spices that are needed so it seems to take a long time measuring everything outWww@FoodAQ@Com
i agree with you! its just basic stuff really!.!.but there are other purely typical indian foods which we may not use !.!.im no cooker but im an indian so i know! and indian food tastes brilliant!.!.esp the biriyaniWww@FoodAQ@Com
