Question: Just what exactly are grits!?
I'm a Yankee!. I have never seen them but just had a discussion with two guys!. One said they are made from potatoes and the other thinks they are from cotton seeds!. I think they are both wrong!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

They are made from Hominy!. And they are good, good!. I don't know why so many people have issues with grits!. They are great!. Obviously with breakfast!.!.!. eggs, bacon or sausage!. But if your a good cook and know what your doing!.!. you can get imaginative!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Grits are made of corns!. Manufacturers dry the kernels, then grind them, not to finder but to the consistency of Kors
