I ate amazing Indonesian food in Amsterdam!. I have never been to Indonesia but heard that Amsterdam had great Indonesian restaurants so we gave it a try!. I went with a group of about 10 people total and we all ordered something different and shared it!. It was one of my favorite meals to date!. I really enjoyed all of the complexity and flavors in the food!. I live in Pennsylvania, USA and do not have any Indonesian restaurants near me so that was my one and only experience!. I love gado gado!. I'm vegetarian, so it's a good dish for me!. I love the vegetables with the peanut sauce!. I really like it with some orange in it too!.

I've eaten and enjoyed lots of other Indonesian dishes too!. Some were traditionally made with meat or fish, but changes were made!. I love the spicy flavors of chilies, herbs and other seasonings, combined with the sweet flavour!.
