Answers:
It is called a fish ballWww@FoodAQ@Com

Well, if it is round, white at the size of meat ball, this is 'bakso' (that's the way it is called in Indonesia but there is a Chinese name), very popular street dish, served with clear soup and noodle!.
If this looks really like an egg (size shape and texture) then it is an egg but an egg (hen or duck) preserved in salt!. The color is brownish and the taste is a bit fishy!.
Hope it helpsWww@FoodAQ@Com

yup the others have answered just right--it IS fish balls- and alternately u have chicken balls and so forth--its called Yue Than in cantonese and its delicious but only if u have the stomach for it--u cud buy it in supermarkets and make sum really awesome stuff with it--like adding it to home made noodles--u can deep fry them or just saute them--they r greatWww@FoodAQ@Com

it could be fish slice because sometimes they out that in asian food and it has the colour and appearance of egg but tastes like fish!.!.!. otherwise it could be cut up fish balls!.!.!. not BALL balls as in what guys have but as in in like fish meatballs!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Fish ball!. Actually, the Cantonese word for it is literally "fish egg" (yu dahn)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
