There is no added Iodine and it is like small flakes!. Great on meats before cooking to seal in flavor and great sprinkled on fresh veggies! I use it a great deal!. Don't use it in baking recipes, stick to table salt for that!.

If you are Jewish food needs to be pure because of dietary laws particular to the Jewish faith, Kosher means made pure without additives, several times a year special kettles at Coke in Atlanta are cleaned to a very exact standard, then Coke made with real Sugar and no additives and Coke is made in small vats put in glass bottles all of it done while being watched by Rabbis, all foods marked Kosher have to meet high standards and approved ay Rabbis!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
