What kind of food do they eat in Eastern Europe?!


Question: What kind of food do they eat in Eastern Europe!?
I'm talking about the countries in the Balkan region!. I know that in Bulgaria, they eat lots of yogurt!. I know about Greek food and all the vineyards in The Balkans!. What else do they consume besides wine, yogurt, and grape leaves!? Are there any notorious dishes in Romania, Bulgaria, or any of the rest of the countries in that region!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Borshch is a biggie! Hard, Dark Breads with hearty soups and rich stews!. Plenty of fish, some pickled, some very salty!. Sausages of all kinds, served either hot or cold, with potatoes!. Big vegetable Salads!. Goulash, Caviar, Pierogie, meats wrapped into pasties, and cabbage, rich but I man big desserts!. Foods that are certain to stick to your bones!.!.!. And don't forget that absinthe!. The artist's companion! The magical Green Fairy!

Some of my family lives in Serbia, and they eat a lot of meat!. Primarily pork!. Usually they will eat meat with cabbage and potatos!.!.!. If they're not eating that then they eat different sorts of Goulash!.!. It's very popular in Eastern European countries!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My sister and her family live in Albania which is Eastern Europe - she says they eat lots of cold meats that have a kind of sour taste to them Www@FoodAQ@Com
