Is the durians smell bad?!

Question: Is the durians smell bad!?
Yes, I'm sure that the durians are smell bad, but the durians are growing from trees in Thailand!. I don't like to eat durians, because I may be vomit and get sick! I have seen many durians on trees at Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia during vacation to Asia!. I flew United Airlines to Asia before!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes durian smells bad - but it tastes GREAT! I used to hate it as a kid but I really love the taste now :) Its an acquired taste though, but you won't know if you like it unless you try it! I'd suggest that you do try it, because if you hate it you never have to go near one again, but if you love it, you'll want to eat it for the rest of your life!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well most foreigners(mostly non-malaysians) HATE durians in a majorly way!.my advice:give it a chance!how can you hate such a delectable fruit!to me,it smells so heavenly, and its so versatile!

in malaysia(where i live) durians are the king of all fruits!.it can be made into durian jam, durian cake, durian dodol(google it!),placed into chendol,ABC(get googling) with glutinous rice, with toast,or even on its own!

truly delicious,i must say!.trust me!.its delicious!.i had a german friend visit malaysia,and i gave him some durians!.he was like:"is it spicy!?!?"
i laughed sooo hard!its a fruit!its sweet and soft,like bananas!but it has a very distinctive flavour!.

p!.s!.:do you know durian has a heating property!?it is said if you eat a lot of durians, your body heats up!.(good for people in alaska,eh!?)
