Which is healthier: jamaican or ecuadorian cuisine/food?!

I can tell you that Jamaican food is a lot healthier, than Ecuadorian!. I live in New York City which is basically a melting pot of every cuisine on the planet, it also helps that i have a lot of friends that are Latino and a few Jamaicans too, and from what i've noticed Jamaicans do not use a lot of oils/butter or animal fat to cook with!. Most of their meats are stewed down in there own juices with maybe just a touch of vegetable oil!. I will say that Jamaican food is rich in a lot of starch as they eat a lot of ground provisions such as yams and potatoes and green plantains, they also consume an aweful lot of rice!. Ecuadorian cuisine my opinion uses a lot of oil and animal fat to cook with such bacon or pork grease and oil!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
