Answers:
Well let's see, Fontina cheese is from Europe and I do not recall any authentic Mexican recipes listing puff pastry and thyme as an ingredient, so my answer to your question would be no!. If you really want to make an authentic mexican appetizer, make flautas, corditas, or Queso Fundido!.

You are kidding me right!? That is so not Mexican!. Good mexican appetizers, would be sopa de fideo, a classic tortilla chips, with mexican sour cream, and other dips like fresh salsa, guacamole etc!. , can be used as one, quesadillas, sopes, chilaquiles, tacos, empanadas, floutas, gorditas etcWww@FoodAQ@Com

some recipes on this site are ok , but this is not and i really don't know why they call it authentic 90% of the ingredients are not even found in mexico! whatever made you think this was mexican anyway !?
i think you should try empanadas, under pastries!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

that is the farthest thing from mexican i have ever seen !.!.!.just kidding !.!.!.but that really isn't mexican!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've never heard of a mexican apple!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
