Who invented the Tamale? ?!

Question: Who invented the Tamale!? !?
Answers:
Haha the tamale can be traced back to the indigenous people of what is now Mexico!. In mexico singular is Tamale, plural is Tamales!. Every Latin American country has an equivalent, corn dough, with different components based on region and some sort of meat filling, wrapped in a plantain leaf, corn husk, or something similar!. In Venezuela there is the Hallaca!. In most other countries, like Colombia and Ecuador, the singular is just Tamal!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Nonsense, all of you! Tamales were invented by a migrant worker in Texas named Tamas Alejandro Trujillo in the 50's!. He had a wife on the Mexican side of the border and a girlfriend on the U!.S!. side!. He created the tamale as a clever way to make excuses to both women as to why he had to be away from home!. He told his American girl that he went to Mexico for the chiles and told his Mexican wife (who made the tamales under his direction) that he went to Texas to sell the tamales!. All went well until the women met at the County fair in '58 and jointly saw him romancing a third woman which resulted in what is now commonly known as the Mexican stand-off!. And that's the truth!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The word tamal (singular for tamales) comes from the Nahuatl word tamalli and refers to something wrapped up!. A tamal consists of a leaf as a wrapper the masa (dough), and the filling!. Wrapping leaves are dried or fresh corn husks, banana leaves, and sometimes chard or other native leaves!. The fillings are meats, poultry, fish, vegetables, and often have a coating of mole or other sauce to moisten the filling
