Pickled giner aids digestion!. This is what my mother told me!. Because sushi is cold and some of it is raw, like sashimi, the pickled ginger ensures that it settles well in the stomach!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ginger is one of the best ways to treat an upset stomach!. It originally was thought that it would prevent getting sick from the raw fish, parasites etc!. Personally, I just think it tastes good with sushi!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
