Does wasabi ever go old?!
my step mom got me some for christmas last year (i know seriously hehe but its super yummy) and i was just wondering if it like goes bad or not!? thank you in advanced:)Www@FoodAQ@Com

just put wrapped wasabi inside refrigerator ,this still can use for a week or 10 days(for good taste/spicy) before you use again , put a little bit water and mixed well, this make fresh again!.
if powder wasabi not mixed yet ,that's no problem
for fresh wasabi paste on plastic tube, this simple too, just covered and put at refrigerator ,this can be more longer than powder wasabi!.

Assuming that it is paste or powder, yes, wasabi will fade in color and it will lose it's flavor!. It lasts longer if you keep it refrigerated!.
Fresh wasabi will spoil much like a fresh piece of ginger!. It will shrink and shrivel up!. It should have an expiration date on the packaging!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
