Ahi, sushi grade tuna sells in California Oriental markets for $6 to $18 per pound!. Frozen, it sells for less than the high end!. Seldom less than the low end!. Tunas do vary in size, depending upon the type, and the age of the fish, as "daddy" points out!. So the cost of a whole fresh tuna will naturally depend on the size, type, and market!.

A whole fresh tuna, caught on your own line, can cost as little as several hundred, and as much as several thousand, depending on where you live, and who your guide is!. There are so many variables, that your question is staggering!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
