Question: I would like a recipe for string-hoppers!? What are they and what do you serve them with!?
Answers:
I am a former chef and live in Toronto Canada and often go to Sri Lankan restaurant here and have them, they serve them with dals, achars (a chutney like side), masalas and other veg and fruit side dishes, there are a variety of string hoppers, and I am partial to the coconut ones with the sweet fillings, but like the regular with a moog or soor dal, a hot tomato pickle and a cup of milk tea, it is a breakfast special, there are one served with eggs broken in them to!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
