Hawaii has this "dish" that's infamous for it's taste. Do you know what's called?!


Question: Hawaii has this "dish" that's infamous for it's taste!. Do you know what's called!?
It's made from a root that grows in a huge amount of water!. The root is then ground and pulverized to make a paste!. All I can remember is that start with a p (about 80% sure)!.

While looking for the name, I ran into Pulao!. Anyone know what this is!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
