Hello! I usually buy rambutan in can since I can't get fresh ones since they're very expensive!. Frozen durians can be purchased in the frozen section of any Asian grocery stores!. They come either already cut into packages or whole (usually from Thailand)!. The durian is frozen whole and you need a couple of days to thaw it out before you can even cut into it!.

I don't think I have ice kachang recipe unless you mean cendol!. It's very hard to make!. I usually just go to a Vietnamese dessert store and get the 'green' worm-like things then add it to shaved ice and palm sugar syrup!.

Anyway, here is my website on Malaysian recipe if you're interested:

The green worm like things are made with green bean flour, tapioca starch, food colour and sugar, and poached to cook, I ama former chef from Canada and worked in Singapore and had that quite often, here in Canada we have a large Asian population and here in Toronto ON I have the luxury of many Asian/Chinese grocery's, so I can get all those fruits plus jackfruit, mangosteen and we have frozen durian and canned rambutan, I use to make ice cream with both and even add palm seeds to the mix, I buy the coloured tapioca balls for bubble tea, have palm sugar in my larder and a few tins of coconut milk, I should make up a batch of Kauchan!. Most are available in the Asian shops, I have a friend in Liverpool who run a place of his own, he worked for me in Singapore, and I visit him once a year and give him a hand and help with the work, we have found those items even in the Merseyside shops!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
