The chicharones are in the Mofongo, not seperate!. They are just pork rinds!. Here is a recipe for Mofongo:

& the rice!.!. what does he want!? White rice with red/pink beans!? Or yellow rice w/ red/pinks beans!? Or yellow rice with gandules(pigeon peas)!? Theses are all types of puerto rican rice!.
WHITE RICE & RED/PINK BEANS:
White rice is cooked normally but add a tbsp of oil to it!. & we like to cook it in a caldero(aluminum pot), But any pot or rice cooker will work!. Dont stir the rice(or not much)!. Then in a seperate pot cook the beans!. Put the heat on medium!. Put a tbsp of oil & a tsp of sofrito or recaito in the pot!. You can add chopped peppers or onions(optional)!. Let it simmer(not burn)!. Then add a 1/2 can of Goya plain tomato salsa (its not slasa for chips- its tomato sauce)!. & 1 cup of water, a few green olives & a 1/2 packet of Sazon!. Get canned Goya Red(or Pink- theyre better) beans!. Rinse them & put half a can in the pot!. Stir!. You can add cut potatos(optional)!. Keep stiring & cook for about a half hour or until the sauce is a good consistency!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
