Lemongrass substitute. ?!

Question: Lemongrass substitute!. !?
Can anyone recommend a common, suitable replacement for lemongrass!? I live in a small town and it's impossible to find in the surrounding areas!. I know I can order over the internet, I'm looking for something I can use that's fresh and similar in taste!. I'll be using it in a vietnamese lemongrass chicken recipe!.
Thank you!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
The easiest substitute would be some fresh ginger combined with lemon zest!. it definitely will not be the same but it will be just as bright!. Although totally different than lemongrass, lime leaf has a very unique, floral character!. you can find this product in most asian markets and the best part is they can be stored in the freezer!. Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would use lemon peel insteadWww@FoodAQ@Com
