Are Mexican and Puerto Rican foods similar?!

No, they are not!. They both use some basic ingredients such as rice, beans (red and or black), chicken and pork but that's about it!.
Note that part of Mexico is so close to Cuba that folks on the Yucatan prepare foods just as the Cubans!.
Mexico (32 States) is so much bigger than PR: 761,606 sq!. miles vs!. 3,515 sq!. miles!. This size alone would lend a country to have a variety of cusines!. Mexico has such a varied terrain, so much more than PR, that it can't have all that much in common with the smaller country!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Puerto Rican food is more tropical!.!. coconuts plantains etc!. While Mexican food is more spicy so they're very different!. I actually once heard a Puerto Rican insult a Mexican in spanish by calling him a chile eater!.!. I guess he couldnt call him a bean eater because Puerto Ricans also eat beans!.!. just prepared differently!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
