Is there a difference between a 'fresh salmon roll' or a 'salmon roll'?!
Often on sushi menus, I see 'fresh salmon roll' but other times I see 'salmon roll' and Im not sure if the fresh before the salmon makes a difference o_O Is it just a way to make it sound better or an actual difference!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
they ARE different!.
example, fresh water eel and just eel, they are different types of eel, both cooked, but taste different!.
so fresh salmon might mean they it's a different type of fish than regular salmon!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Look Kanon,
Both are salmon rolls, but "fresh salmon rolls" are made with fresh raw salmon, and what appears regularly as "salmon rolls", are made with cooked salmon!.
