How does Mexican Food and Spanish food differ?!

Question: How does Mexican Food and Spanish food differ!?
Answers:
Besides the obvious: 2 different countries on 2 different continents!.!.!. There are some very big differences and some similarities as well!. Mexico was conquered by Spain!. So in Mexico there are a lot of mexicanised Spanish dishes like pescado a la veracruzana and lomo de puerco en salsa de ciruela!. You can also find some (not a lot) Mexican influences in Spanish cooking like the use of tomatoes and corn!. But the main differences are that Spanish cooks use more Mediterranean flavors, like basil!. The main ingredients in a Mexican meal are avocado, tortillas, beans and chili peppers!. Mexicans usually prefer tortillas over bread while the Spanish prefer bread!. You find a wide variety of protein in Mexico, from fish, and sea food, to pork, beef and chicken!. Like in Spain what is mostly eaten depends on where you are!. The closer you are to an ocean the more seafood you'll get!. Like a lot of countries both Spain and Mexico cook, eat, and consider the heart, sweet breads, liver, kidneys and so forth specialties!. Most Latin countries (countries whose language comes from Latin eg!. Spain, Mexico, France, etc!.) Use every single part of an animal!. Hope this helps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've had my fair share of Mexican and Spanish food and although Mexican food is inspired by Spanish food, Mexican uses way more chilli peppers than Spanish does!. Take for example a typical Spanish snack being a toasted rustic bread with tomato and garlic rubbed on it and a typical Mexican snack being a tortilla with some fresh made salsa and a piece of meat!. Clearly Spanish food is more of European style food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Mexican food is a blend of indigenous foods and European!. Maize used in corn tortillas and many other Mexican foods along with peppers and spices come from their indigenous past and meats like pork and beef (animals which arent native to Mexico) were introduced by the Europeans!.

Food from spain tends to be more Mediterranean and isnt spicy like Mexican food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I love to sing-a
About a moon-a and a June-a and a spring-a,
I love to sing-a,
About a sky of blue-a, and a tea for two-a,
Anything-a with a swing-a, or a "I love you-a,"
I love, I love to sing!

Give me a song-a
About a son-a gun that went and done her wrong-a!.
But keep it clean-a,
By a cottage small-a with a waterfall-a,
Any sob-a that will throb-a to a bluebird's call-a,
I love, I love to sing!

I was born a singin' fool-a,
Lah-de-dah!
Ol' Major Bowes is gonna spot me,
Got through Yale with boula-boula,
Lah-de-dah!
Old microphone's got me!

I love to sing-a,
I love to wake up with the south-a in my mouth-a,
And wave a flag-a,
With a cheer for Uncle Sammy and another for my mammy,
I love to sing!

The swingin'est,
Hot singin'est,
Bell-ringin'est,
Song singin'est
High tootin'est,
Sky tootin'est,
I love to sing!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, one is from Latin America and the other is a European dish for starters!.
Often, ethnic dishes contain the food and spices that grow in the country of their origin!. However, Spain did have a large influx of Mexican foodstuffs, so there is a lot of Mexican or South American influence in Spanish foods!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The Mexicans incorporate a lot more desert plants and odd meats like pig ears and cow tongue!. I swear to God, I live less than an hour from the border and I'm a poor college student so I shop at Food City!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
