Question about canned food life?!
I bought a few cans of Juanitas Pozole about 7 months ago, they don't have any expiration date on them!. This type of soup contains meat, do you think it's still good!? I'd like to still use them if i can!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have a couple of cans of Juanita's Pozole in my cupboard left from a case I bought 3 years ago!. I only have the two left!. I last ate some 2 months ago, and it was good!. Good brand, nice flavor!. I plan on eating the other two before buying more, but it was such a good buy the first time, I couldn't help myself!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Anymore when we purchase can goods they must by law have a date on expiration stamped on them, perhaps you have overlooked it might be in a spot of the can that is not noticeable , or it also could be that the ink is rubbed off in time , if the can is only 7 months old it's fine to consume, the shelf life for canned goods is from 1 to 2 years depending on what it is of coarse, and also on how long they have been on the store shelves on display and if they were away from any source of heat like direct sun or cold, so if you don't feel safe why take the chance !.
