Is Top Ramen (flavored noodles) a sufficient meal by itself?!

Question: Is Top Ramen (flavored noodles) a sufficient meal by itself!?
Answers:
Taste-wise, yes!. Health-wise, no!. You need more than just carbs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

For me it's not, with respect to taste or nutrition!. But some simple additions make it a lot better for you and a lot more tasty, with out sacrificing the ease of a one-pot fast meal!.

For improved taste and nutrition:
-When you're warming up the water, add sliced veggies to the cold water in the pot!. I like to add a sliced onion, about a cup or two of shredded cabbage, a carrot cut into circles, a couple of minced cloves of garlic, and a few mushrooms cut into slices
-When you add the noodles, add some frozen green peas and some canned corn (with no butter and preferably no salt added)

For improved taste:
-Add a little bit of soy sauce, and hot sauce
-For a kind of Thai spin on it, add a few fresh basil leaves, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime juice!.

This also has the advantage of making your ramen packet go longer; I usually end up doubling the amount of soup 1 package would've made!. Leftovers = more food for me = ramen becomes even cheaper!Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, but it's better than nothing!. I usually make chow mien, by stir frying some meat and vegetables, adding the cooked noodles, and the spice pack with a little water!. If I want something even easier I just add some frozen vegetables, and pre cooked meats, chicken, diced ham, shrimp, or what ever, when I boil the water!. then just make the soup like normal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Definitely not!. The entire meal is made up of carbs and salt!.

You can use the ramen as a base and add vegetables and meat to it to make it more nutritious!. You could even drain the water off and make a ramen pasta salad out of it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I eat it w/out water!. I cook the noodles, drain, then add the seasoning!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Only satisfies your need for salt and carbs! What about a vegetable, fruit or dairy!? Answer: NO!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
