Answers:
Yes, sushi refers simply to vinegared rice!. You can get sushi (not maki, or rolls) that is simply fish with rice on the bottom!. Sometimes this is wrapped in a thin piece of seaweed, but it doesn't have to be, and it doesn't always come that way anyway!. I'm sure that if you get regular sushi, and not rolls, and just be sure to tell the sushi chef, "I can't eat ANY seaweed," it will be fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can order sushi without anything in it, just chunks or slices of tuna or any fish they have!. It is best eaten that way too, and less filling!. I actually do not like sushi rolls, I prefer plain fish!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yeah, just get the pieces!. They lay the piece of fish over a packed chunk of rice, or get the roll specially ordered with no seaweed and they'll just wrap the fish and veggies with rice instead!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Nigiri-zushi does not have any seaweed!. It's just the meat on top and rice below!.
