What's the deal with Chinese beans?!


Question: What's the deal with Chinese beans!?
I went to a local Chinese market to buy some beans!. All they had in there was cans of sweetened beans and sweetened bean paste and hot peas, and bage of hot peas!. I don't mean this as a put-down!. I know it's a Chinese market, but don't they sell unsweetened beans in cans in Chinese stores!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

can beans what you know ( northern, pinto, etc) are not used in chinese dishes!. The only beans you will find in an chinese market are dried and can( sweet for pastries) red beans, hot bean pastes ( made from soy beans) bean sprouts , dried green beans ( made to be cooked and eaten sweet)Www@FoodAQ@Com

They don't use them in their cuisine!. So, why would they have to have them in the store!.!.!.!.it's a chinese market!.!.!.!.!.!.go to a regular supermarket if you want americanfood!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
